Hon. Mr. Justice Lameck Mwale is a Judge of the High Court. He was appointed Judge of the High Court of Zambia on 14th July, 2021 Justice Mwale holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the bar in 2008.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Mwale served as Chief Resident Magistrate at the Lusaka Subordinate Courts from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019 he served as Principal Resident Magistrate at the Mongu Subordinate Court. Justice Mwale also served as Senior Resident Magistrate at the Lusaka Subordinate Court from 2011 to 2016 and as Resident Magistrate at Kabwe Subordinate Court from 2010 to 2011. Justice Mwale also served as an Associate Advocate at Theotis, Chalwe & Mataka Legal Practitioners and Permanent Chambers from 2008 to 2010 and 2010 to 2011, respectively.
From 2019 to 2021, Justice Mwale served as a member of the Judicial Service Commission.
He is a member of the Magistrates and Judges Association of Zambia (MAJAZ) and the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association (CMJA).
