Hon. Mr. Justice Sunday Bwalya Nkonde, SC was a Judge of the High Court, Industrial Relations Division. He was appointed to the High Court on 12th May, 2016. Justice Nkonde holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the bar in 1989.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Nkonde served as Judge of the High Court, Commercial Division. Justice Nkonde served as Managing Partner at SBN Legal Practitioners from 2007 to 2016 and Managing Partner at Sunday Nkonde and Co from 1995 to 2002. He also served as an Advocate at Central Chambers and Jacques and Partners from 1992 to 1995 and 1989 to 1992, respectively. Justice Nkonde served as Solicitor General of the Republic of Zambia from 2002 to 2006.
He was conferred with the rank and status of State Counsel when he was appointed Solicitor General on ……………………………….…2002.
