Hon. Mr. Justice Mwape Dancewell Bowa is a Judge of the High Court. He was appointed to the High Court on 8th December, 2015. Justice Bowa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Zambia, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He was admitted to the bar in 2002.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Bowa served as the Director, Legal and Prosecutions Directorate at the Anti-Corruption Commission. Justice Bowa served in various positions in the Anti-Corruption Commission since he first joined as an Assistant Investigations Officer in 1994. He served as Investigations Officer from 1995 to 2002, Senior Prosecutions Officer from 2002 to 2004 and Chief Legal and Prosecutions Officer from 2004 to 2005.
