Hon. Mr. Justice Davies Chali Mumba is a Judge of the High Court. He was appointed to the High Court on 12th May, 2016. Justice Mumba holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia and Master of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the bar in 2005.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Mumba served as the Deputy Registrar of the Industrial Relations Court. Justice Mumba has served in various positions in the Judiciary since he first joined as a Magistrate Class II in 2003, these include Deputy Registrar of the Kitwe High Court from 2014 to 2015, Chief Resident Magistrate at the Kitwe Subordinate Court from 2013 to 2014, Chief Resident Magistrate and Principal Resident Magistrate at the Livingstone Subordinate Court from 2009 to 2012, Senior Resident Magistrate at Kabwe Subordinate Court from 2007 to 2008 and Resident Magistrate at the Lusaka Subordinate Court from 2005 to 2006.
