Hon. Mrs. Justice Dorcas Munkombwe Malama is a Judge of the High Court. She was appointed to the High Court on 14th July, 2021. Justice Malama holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia. She also holds a post- graduate certificate in court-annexed mediation. She was admitted to the bar in 2001.
Prior to her current appointment, Justice Malama served as Registrar in the Constitutional Court of Zambia from 2018 to 2021. Justice Malama also served as a Senior Research Advocate in the Constitutional Court and the Supreme Court from 2016 to 2017 and 2013 to 2016, respectively. Between 2010 and 2013, she served in various positions including as Legal Counsel at Access Bank from 2012 to 2013, Legal Counsel at Copperbelt University from 2011 to 2012, Council Advocate and Council Registrar for Luanshya Municipal Council in 2010, Senior Legal Officer at the National Legal Aid Clinic for Women from 2005 to 2009 and Legal Officer in the same institution from 2001 to 2004.
