PROFILE
Hon. Mr. Justice Willie Sinyangwe is a Judge of the High Court. He was appointed Judge of the High Court on 14th July, 2021. Justice Sinyangwe holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the bar in 2007.
Prior to his current appointment, Justice Sinyangwe served as the Sheriff of Zambia from 2020 to 2021. Justice Sinyangwe served in various other positions in the Judiciary since he first joined as Magistrate Class II in 1997. He served as Registrar of the Kitwe High Court in 2020, District Registrar of Livingstone High Court from 2016 to 2020, Chief Resident Magistrate at the Livingstone Subordinate Court from 2014 to 2016, Principal Resident Magistrate at the Choma Subordinate Court from 2012 to 2014, Senior Resident Magistrate at the Choma Subordinate Court from 2011 to 2012, Resident Magistrate at Choma Subordinate Court from 2008 to 2011and Magistrate Class I at the Chingola Subordinate Court from 2001 to 2008.
Justice Sinyangwe is a member of various associations including the Magistrates and Judges Association of Zambia (MAJAZ).
