Hon. Mr. Justice Ikechukwu Iduma is the Judge-in-Charge of the Mansa High Court, appointed on 27th May 2026. Prior to his appointment to the Bench, Justice Iduma served as Registrar of the Constitutional Court from July 2021. He earlier served as Registrar of the High Court at Ndola from 2020 to 2021 and Registrar of the Kitwe High Court from 2016 to 2020.
He holds a Master of Laws Degree in Constitutional Laws Degree and a Bachelor of Laws Degree, from the University of Zambia. He was admitted to the Bar on 24th November 2006.
Justice Iduma underwent Training for African Judicial Cadres in Cairo in 2009 by the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with Africa and the National Centre for Judicial Studies. He also completed a Law and Justice Course in 2012 at the Danish Institute for Human Rights under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DANIDA Fellowship Programme).
He joined the Judiciary in 2006 as a Resident Magistrate at the Ndola Subordinate Court, a position he held until 2009. He subsequently served as Senior Resident Magistrate in the Industrial Relations Court at Ndola from March 2009 to June 2010, Principal Resident Magistrate at the Solwezi Subordinate Court from June 2010 to September 2014, Principal Resident Magistrate at the Kitwe Subordinate Court from September 2014 to 2015, and thereafter as Chief Resident Magistrate at the same court from 2015 to April 2016.
Before joining the Judiciary, Justice Iduma served as an Officer Cadet in the Zambia Army from 2004 to 2006. His early legal career includes interning as a Learner Legal Practitioner at Messrs Malambo and Company from 2005 to 2006 and serving as an intern at the Legal Resources Foundation in 2003.
