Hon. Lady Justice Conceptor Chinyanwa Zulu is a Judge of the Court of Appeal, appointed on 27th May 2026. Prior to this appointment, she served as a Judge of the High Court General Division.
Justice Zulu was appointed Judge of the High Court on 13th November 2017 and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia. She was admitted to the Bar in 1995.
Prior to her judicial appointment, Justice Zulu served as Administrator General and Official Receiver at the Ministry of Justice from 2013. She previously served as Deputy Administrator General and Official Receiver from 2011 to 2013, Principal Legal Officer from 2006 to 2011, Senior State Advocate in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions from 2002 to 2006, and Senior State Advocate in the Attorney General’s Chambers from 1996 to 2002.
She began her career as a State Advocate in the then Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (now the National Prosecutions Authority) from 1995 to 1996.
Justice Zulu also served as a Member of the Radiation Protection Board from 2013 to 2017 and as a Member of the Special Committee of the Tender Board of Zambia in 2004. She is a member of the Zambia Association of Women Judges.
