HON. LADY JUSTICE SEKELEBAKA MUWAMBA KUNDACHOLA

PROFILE

 

Hon. Lady Justice Sekelebaka Muwamba Kundachola is a Judge of the High Court, and currently serves in the Economic and Financial Crimes Division. She was appointed on 27th May 2026. Prior to her appointment to the Bench, she served as Deputy Chief State Advocate for North Western Province at the National Prosecution Authority from June 2020.

She began her legal career as a Learner Legal Practitioner at Andrea Masiye and Company from 2000. Upon being admitted to the Bar on 29th June 2001, Justice Kundachola joined the Ministry of Justice in the Directorate of Public Prosecutions. She then transitioned into corporate mining, as Legal Officer and later Company Secretary at Konkola Copper Mines Plc from 2003 to 2007, and as Company Secretary Designate for Chambishi Metals PLC and Luanshya Copper Mines PLC from 2007 to 2009. Justice Kundachola rejoined the Ministry of Justice in 2010 to 2013, under Director of Public Prosecutions and rose to the position of Principal State Advocate from February 2018 to June 2020, and was thereafter appointed Head of the National Prosecutions Authority in the Northwestern Province from 2020 to 2026.

Justice Kundachola has also served as a Member of the North Western Provincial Administration Audit Committee from 2022 to May 2026, and previously as a Member of the Copperbelt University Statutes Committee from 2014 to 2015.
